After two decades of peace, the enemies once defeated by Dandivine return to Tokyo. Gekiha Shijima, a high-school student, is drawn into piloting the legendary combining robot with help from a former pilot in his family.
The renewed conflict also offers a struggling toy company a chance to revive its fortunes. Dandivine follows the young pilot as he confronts the returning threat and the expectations attached to a famous machine.
